The Role 

As a Production & Product Development Intern at LABFRESH, you will work closely with both our Production Manager and Product Developer, gaining hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle.

You will support the Production Manager with quality control on both textile and garment level, helping ensure that our products meet the highest standards before reaching our customers. This includes assisting with supplier communication and supporting day-to-day production processes.

On the product development side, you will mainly support the team with administrative tasks, quality control, and the coordination of key projects. You will assist in managing product information and documentation within our PLM system, which is our main tool for communication with vendors and production partners.

In addition, you will be involved in key projects within the team, where you will take on real responsibility and have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the brand.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into both the technical and creative sides of product creation within a fast-growing fashion company.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Support the Production Manager with quality control on both textile and garment level
• Assist in monitoring product quality during production and before delivery
• Help manage communication with suppliers and production partners
• Support the Product Developer with research
• Maintain and improve our PLM system and processes
• Assist with researching and sourcing innovative fabrics, materials, and treatments
• Help test and evaluate new textiles and product samples
• Contribute to the execution of key product and production-related projects
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects with increasing responsibility over time
• Support daily operational activities within the production and development team

Requirements

• Be in our office (Amsterdam) 4-5 days per week
• Currently studying Textile Engineering, Production Management, Fashion, or a similar relevant study (Saxion, AMFI, TMO) 
• You are proactive & independent 
• Excited about embracing a slightly chaotic and fast-paced startup culture 
• Fluent in English (Dutch is considered a plus)
